Our History

For decades, Finance and Allied workers union has stood as a pillar of support for workers across Uganda. Our journey reflects our unwavering commitment to justice, equity, and professional growth.

  1. 1985 · FOUNDING

    Union established in Kampala

    Finance and Allied workers union begins as a small collective of dedicated professionals, united by the goal of securing fair wages and better working conditions for all.

    National reach achieved

    The union expands its operations across Uganda, establishing regional offices to better serve members in diverse financial and allied sectors nationwide.

    Legislative reform success
